TFC Talk: Second half of the season looks pretty rough

The first half of the MLS season didn't go to plan for Toronto FC.

TFC (3-10-4, 13 points) sits in second-last place in the Eastern Conference at the midway point of the campaign, five spots and 12 points out of a playoff berth.

Toronto was supposed to be off until June 13 when it was to visit LAFC. But that game has been postponed until October, which means TFC will have been off for 25 days before returning to action when they host the New York Red Bulls on June 25.

TFC Republic spoke to fellow Toronto FC beat reporter James Grossi, who also operates the Unattached FC website, discusses whether the extended break is good or bad for TFC, the club's chances for success in the second half of the season, and more.
