Canada vs. Haiti: What you need to know

Casey Stoney is back at the helm of the Canadian women's team and is looking forward to getting her hands dirty.

Stoney missed the team's last match, a 4-1 win over Haiti in Winnipeg on Saturday due to a "family-related personal matter." Assistant coach Natalie Henderson took over and oversaw a comprehensive win by the Canadians. But Stoney is now back with the Canadian team and ready to take charge for the series finale vs. Haiti.

That game in Winnipeg marked the international farewell of veteran midfielder Desiree Scott, who'll continue to play for Ottawa Rapid FC in the Northern Super League. Scott, 37, retired from the national team with 188 caps, having won Olympic bronze in 2016 and 2012, and gold in 2021.

Here’s what you need to know about Tuesday's match between Canada and Haiti at Montreal's Stade Saputo (7:30 p.m. ET/OneSoccer).
