Random thoughts on TFC: Should Kerr start ahead of Brynhildsen?

Some random thoughts I had on Toronto FC ahead of Saturday's road game vs. Charlotte FC (7:30 p.m. ET/Apple TV).  

Richie Laryea proving to be an asset in midfield

With Deybi Flores ruled out with a high ankle sprain, coach Robin Fraser came up with a somewhat creative solution to fill the void left by the industrious central midfielder.

Rather than have Kosi Thompson or fellow midfielder Maxime Dominguez fill in for the Honduran international, Fraser tabbed wingback Richie Laryea to serve as TFC's defensive stopper in central midfield over the last two games.
