CanWNT Talk: Stoney committed to giving youth a chance

The Canadian women's team swept its two-match series vs. Haiti by posting a 3-1 win at Montreal's Stade Saputo on Tuesday night.

Evelyne Viens bagged a brace, Holly Ward recorded her first goal and first assist for Canada, and captain Jessie Fleming had a pair of assists.  

"Really bright spark,” coach Casey Stoney said of Ward. “We've seen what she's been doing in the NSL, but to be able to step into this level against a physically strong Haitian team … I thought it was a real bright spark.”
