It's back to the drawing board for Toronto FC

TFC (2-7-4) couldn't build upon their dominant win over D.C. United last weekend, suffering a 1-0 loss to Eastern Conference leaders FC Cincinnati on Wednesday at BMO Field.

"I look at this game [and] I felt like our effort was great. We probably just weren't as sharp as we needed to be, and I don't think it has to be greatly different," coach Robin Fraser said.

"I think if we connect a bit more, then we create more opportunities and so the message is do what we need to do to get ourselves physically ready for a battle on Saturday [vs. Montreal]."
