TFC Talk: Has the playoff ship sailed for the Reds?

Last Saturday's 2-1 home loss to Nashville SC represented a backwards step for Toronto FC after it registered a historic win over CF Montreal the previous week.

With a 3-8-4 record, TFC currently sits 14th in the Eastern Conference table, five spots and eight points out of a playoff spot. The Reds will reach the official halfway point of the season at the end of this week, so it's incumbent upon them to pick up points in their upcoming home games vs. the Philadelphia Union and Charlotte FC.

TFC Republic spoke to fellow Toronto FC beat reporter James Grossi, who also operates the Unattached FC website, about Toronto's latest loss, the return of captain Jonathan Osorio, and much more.
