Toronto FC: 4 stories to watch this week

Losers of three in a row in all competitions, Toronto FC will attempt to earn its second win of the MLS season when it hosts D.C. United on Saturday (4:30 p.m. ET/Apple TV). 

TFC (1-6-4) is coming off a disastrous week in which they were eliminated from the Canadian Championship at the hands of CF Montreal and then were shut out by the New England Revolution in MLS.  

Despite the pair of setbacks in quick succession, coach Robin Fraser insists the team "can compete with anyone" in the league when it's fully engaged.
