TORONTO – DP Josh Sargent has garnered the majority of headlines for Toronto FC, but Benjamin Kuscevic might just be club's best newcomer this season.

The Chilean international has been a tower of strength in the middle of the defence since making his debut for TFC in a 1-0 road win over FC Cincinnati last month.

It's been impressive how Kuscevic, 29, has hit the ground running after joining the Reds in the third week of the MLS campaign following his loan move from Brazilian side Fortaleza Esporte Clube. He's put in five consecutive 90-minute performances, including in Saturday's 1-1 home draw vs. Cincinnati, which was his best display so far for the Reds.
