Toronto FC vs. FC Cincinnati: 3 takeaways
Despite playing with a man advantage, TFC couldn't see things out after taking the lead late in Saturday's game at BMO Field.
FC Cincinnati was one of the best teams in MLS last year, so it wasn't a major surprise to see them sweep the season series vs. Toronto FC.
A year later, TFC turned the tables on their Eastern Conference rivals by taking four out of a possible six points following Saturday's 1-1 draw at BMO Field.
"Cincinnati is a very good team, without a doubt to get four points out of them in two games is good. I thought we really fought like crazy there and earned it. And I thought today there were moments where we probably could have been better," coach Robin Fraser said.
TFC (3-2-2) are now unbeaten in five games after beginning the campaign with a pair of losses. Toronto is also unbeaten in its last 11 matches at BMO Field (four wins and seven draws) dating back to June 25, 2025
Here are my three major takeaways from Saturday's match.
