Toronto FC vs. Philadelphia Union: What you need to know
TFC host the reigning Supporters' Shield holders on Wednesday as they look to go unbeaten in seven straight games.
The dog days of Spring continue for Toronto FC this week with two more games at BMO Field during its current nine-match homestand.
After starting the campaign with a pair of losses, TFC (3-2-3) are riding a bit of momentum thanks to a six-game unbeaten run, including a 3-3 draw against Austin FC last weekend. At the same time, the Reds have two consecutive draws – and three in their last five outings – and there is a feeling within the team that it has left valuable points on the table.
"Some of the draws we've had, we feel like we definitely could have won those games, which makes it a bit more disappointing. We just have to take the points and then continue to move forward with it, because we can't really sit back and harp on it; we still have more stuff to do in the future," winger Malik Henry said after Tuesday's practice.
Here’s what you need to know about Wednesday's match between Toronto and the Philadelphia Union at BMO Field (7:30 p.m. ET/Apple TV).
