Hope springs eternal for Toronto FC as it resumes its 2026 MLS campaign this weekend.

After posting back-to-back losses to begin their season, TFC have rebounded nicely by going unbeaten in their last three games, including recording two wins to collect seven total points. Compare that to last year when the Reds only had one point after their first five outings and had to wait until April 19, its ninth match of the campaign, to earn its first win.

"There are some really good pieces, good athletes, good footballers, intelligent players, and the mix of players has come together quite well. Now it's just a matter of refining things and getting players on the same page in all scenarios," coach Robin Fraser said on Friday.

“When you do that, then you have a well-oiled machine, but it takes a little while to get there. But I feel quite positive about the group."

Here’s what you need to know about Saturday's match between Toronto and the Colorado Rapids at BMO Field (1:00 p.m. ET/Apple TV).
