Toronto FC vs. Colorado Rapids: 3 takeaways
Some hard work, a fighting spirit and a little bit of good luck allowed TFC to come from behind to beat the Rapids at BMO Field.
Wins don't come much crazier than the one Toronto FC pulled off on Saturday at BMO Field.
Down 2-0 after having a man advantage, TFC stormed back to record a thrilling 3-2 victory over the Colorado Rapids and extend their unbeaten run for four games.
"I think we did really well, to be fair. You could see that in the result. I think for a bit there, the start of the second half, things got a bit out of hand, and I don't think anybody lost their head specifically," Josh Sargent said.
"I think everybody kind of realized the situation we were in and we just had to keep working hard and figure it out. And again, props to the guys, everybody kept working hard and we were able to get to win, so that's the most important thing."
Here are my three major takeaways from Saturday's match.
