Toronto FC vs. Charlotte FC: What you need to know
TFC will try to win two MLS games in a row for just the second time under Robin Fraser when Charlotte visits BMO Field.
There is no rest for the wicked — or Toronto FC.
TFC secured a 2-1 home win over the New England Revolution on Saturday, their first victory since April and a result that snapped a 12-game winless skid in MLS (13 in all competitions). But Toronto doesn't have time to rest on its laurels as it has two games during a four-game span this week. How will this busy schedule affect coach Robin's Fraser's team selections?
"It's a difficult question to answer because you check in basically after every game. You have ideas as to what you might do, but some guys might come out way better than you thought you did. Some guys may come out way worse than you thought they would," Fraser said this week.
"So, it's really just about every game matters; every result matters, and it's just trying to field the best group and the best and healthiest and fittest group for the game."
Here’s what you need to know about Wednesday's game between Toronto and Charlotte FC at BMO Field (7:30 p.m. ET/Apple TV).
