The retooling of Toronto FC’s roster ahead of the 2026 MLS season continued on Wednesday with another big move.

TFC announced the transfer of Deybi Flores to Al-Najma SC of the Saudi Pro League for an undisclosed fee in a transaction that ends the Honduran midfielder's tenure with the Reds after a season and a half.

TFC Republic spoke to fellow Toronto FC beat reporter James Grossi, who also operates the Unattached FC website, about this important roster move by Toronto, Flores' tenure with TFC, and more.
