There were plenty of positives from Canada's World Cup opener, but also some things it'll have correct going into its next game vs. Croatia.
Canada dominated Belgium from start to finish in its opening game at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar on Wednesday.
But the Reds still came out on the short end of things, suffering a 1-0 loss to the European giants at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan. Canada didn’t score in its three losses in Mexico in 1986, but you have to think the drought will end at some point in Qatar based on this amazing display.
