TFC 2's Lazar Stefanovic named to Canada's under-20 squad
The Young Reds' centre back will try to help Canada qualify for this summer's Concacaf Under-20 Championship.
Centre back Lazar Stefanovic is one of four TFC 2 players that have been named to Canada’s roster for the upcoming Concacaf Under-20 Championship Qualifiers.
Stefanovic, 17, is among the standout names on coach Andrew Olivieri’s 21-man roster, which also includes fellow TFC 2 defenders Theo Rigopoulos and Adam Pearlman, and goalkeeper Nathaniel Abraham.
Canada’s three-game group stage takes place in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago and serves as the qualifiers for this summer’s Concacaf Under-20 Championship. The tournament’s host and draw details will be announced at the conclusion of the qualifiers.
