Last weekend's official draw for the 2026 Canadian Championship paired Toronto FC with Atlético Ottawa of the Canadian Premier League.

That means TFC will host Ottawa at BMO Field in the preliminary round of the competition from May 5-10. The winner of that game advances to the two-legged quarter-finals where it will face the winner of the first-round match between FC Supra du Québec of the CPL vs. Woodbridge Strikers SC of League1 Ontario.
