It took a while, but the Canadian women's team managed to take care of business.

A pair of late goals lifted Canada to a 2-0 win over Mexico in Saturday’s international friendly at Montreal’s Stade Saputo as Bev Priestman's side began its final countdown for this summer's Paris Olympics.

Adriana Leon and Cloé Lacasse both scored for Canada, while Evelyne Viens collected a pair of assists in this Olympic tune-up match for the reigning gold medal champions.
