The Reds gathered a bit of momentum from last week's stalemate away to FC Cincinnati in their season opener, drawing positive reviews for their defending and the strong mentality that they displayed in a difficult game.
John Herdman called it a valuable road point and said it was "exactly what we needed" from the first outing of the MLS season. But he isn't getting ahead of himself.
"We showed that fighting spirit. We stayed connected right until the end. So, for me it was a good start to the season, but still work to be done. A lot," Herdman told reporters after the match.
