English defender had been sidelined since last June

If there was a silver lining from Toronto FC's 3-0 road loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps it was the return of Zane Monlouis.

Monlouis, 22, missed most of last season with an abductor injury and his previous taste of action for the Reds was on June 25, 2025. But the English centre back returned to action at BC Place by playing 45 minutes after being subbed on for Kosi Thompson at the start of the second half.
