Future of Ecuadorian at TFC still to be decided

Scottish newspaper The Daily Record reported earlier this week that Toronto FC won’t exercise its purchase option on José Cifuentes and that he will return to Glasgow Rangers once his loan spell expires at the end of June.

But Toronto coach Robin Fraser told TFC Republic after Thursday’s practice that talks between the MLS club, the Ecuadorian midfielder and Rangers are ongoing.
