The grass pitch at BMO Field has been getting a steady workout since Toronto FC’s home opener in mid-March, and it’s only going to get busier.
TFC have played eight consecutive MLS games at BMO Field from March 14 to last Saturday when they battled the San Jose Earthquakes to a 1-1 draw. Less than 24 hours later, AFC Toronto staged their Northern Super League home opener at BMO Field in a 0-0 stalemate vs. Halifax Tides FC.
