Joao Plata was only five-feet-three, but on the evening of May 7, 2011, he stood 10-feet tall.
The Ecuadorian, only 19 years old at the time, scored one goal and set up another in a 2-1 victory for Toronto FC over the visiting Houston Dynamo at BMO Field, marking his first start in a MLS in grand style.
