October 13, 2026: Bossenberry graduates from TFC 2
Toronto FC signed youth academy and TFC 2 product Antone Bossenberry to a "homegrown player" contract through the 2028-29 MLS season with club options for 2029-30 and 2030-31. He becomes the 39th player in club history to sign for the first team from the youth academy. The deal was completed prior to league's roster freeze date on Oct. 9.
Quick analysis: Toronto has added some youth to its midfield core with this signing.
Bossenberry, 18, is considered one of the brightest prospects in the TFC organization so it hardly comes as a surprise that he's been signed to an MLS deal.
