CanMNT Talk: Good, but not great vs. Colombia

HARRISON, NEW JERSEY – When does a draw feel like a win?

When you hold the 13th ranked team in the world to a goal-less draw before a intimidating partisan crowd. Canada, No. 26 in the world, battled Colombia to a 0-0 draw in Tuesday's international friendly before inside a boisterous Sports Illustrated Stadium that was filled to the brim with vocal Colombian fans.

"I think it was a good performance, not a great performance. I felt like most of the game, we were in fourth or fifth gear, and we could have really pushed ourselves into sixth gear and had another level of tactical clarity, aggression, confidence on the ball, clarity in the final third, and quality to make the last action in the final third," coach Jesse Marsch told reporters after the game.

It was a solid comeback effort from the Canadians who four days earlier opened their October window with a 1-0 loss to No. 25 Australia at Montreal's Stade Saputo.
