TFC 2's Fletcher Bank one to watch for the future
In a 1-on-1 interview, the Young Reds prospect discusses his time in MLS NEXT Pro, his aspirations for the future and more.
TFC 2's Fletcher Bank had a successful rookie season in MLS NEXT Pro in 2026 that could result in him graduating to the first team next year.
Bank, 23, scored four goals and tallied seven assists in 20 appearances (17 starts) for the Young Reds, distinguishing himself with his bright attacking play in midfield.
"When you've seen him at his best, he's really a solid impact player. Very difficult to manage when he's running in behind. Very effective in attacking transition. Has a fantastic engine. Provides really good crossing moments. He's able to really get balls inside the box. He could be a handful to deal with from an attacking standpoint," TFC 2 coach Gianni Cimini enthused.
Bank was selected in the third round (85th overall) of the 2024 MLS SuperDraft by Toronto FC. But he didn't join the club right away, choosing to continue his education at Stanford University. He also played with Ventura County Fusion in USL League Two.
