Toronto FC vs. St. Louis City SC: What you need to know
A road game against the hottest team in MLS awaits TFC this weekend as they look to start fresh after last week's loss.
ST. LOUIS – Toronto FC could badly use a clean sheet this weekend.
Toronto is coming off a 3-o road loss to Orlando City SC last week, a result that snapped its season-high seven-game unbeaten streak and marked its ninth straight match without a shut out.
TFC's previous clean sheet came on July 22, and they only have three all season. It's a big reason why Toronto (6-8-11) is on the outside looking in with regards to the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference with only nine contests remaining in the regular season.
