September 2, 2026: Reds acquire Morgan from San Diego   

Toronto FC acquired Scottish forward Lewis Morgan from San Diego FC in exchange for a 2026 international roster slot. 

Quick analysis: Looking to bolster the attack and give Josh Sargent some support, GM Jason Hernandez pulled off an interesting trade in acquiring veteran attacker Lewis Morgan in exchange for an international roster slot. 

While it's true that Morgan, 29, has battled injury problems for the past two seasons, giving up only an international slot is a good piece of business to land the Scottish international who should be able to provide TFC with some much-needed experience and attacking depth.
