Toronto FC has moved forward Deandre Kerr to AVS Futebol SAD (Portugal's second division) on a permanent transfer, with TFC retaining a future sell-on percentage.
Quick analysis: This one comes as a bit of a surprise.
No disrespect to Deandre Kerr, but he wouldn’t be on most pundits’ or fans' lists of Toronto FC players being tracked by European clubs as a potential transfer target. Clearly, AVS Futebol SAD sees something in Kerr that makes them believe he can be an asset for them, despite his complete lack of production this season for TFC.
