TFC injury report: Michael Bradley to have hamstring procedure

Toronto FC’s injury situation keeps getting worse.

Following TFC’s practice on Thursday, coach Bob Bradley revealed that captain Michael Bradley was flying to London, England later in the day to have a procedure on his hamstring on Saturday. Bradley is expected to return to Toronto by Monday.

Bradley, who is dealing with an injury that is taking longer than expected to heal, will be seen by Dr. Ernest Schilders, an internationally recognized orthopaedic surgeon who has worked with a number of soccer players and athletes.

"When he didn't respond as quickly as originally thought, his images were sent to some different doctors, including Dr. Schilders, and then by the time we put all the information together, this was the course of action," Bob Bradley told reporters on Thursday.
