Toronto FC vs. Inter Miami: 3 takeaways
TFC put in a balanced performance on a frigid Saturday night at BMO Field and were justly rewarded with their first win of the season.
Toronto FC badly needed that.
Winless in their previous nine outings (with six losses) and without a victory at home since Aug. 13, 2022, TFC finally got into the win column following Saturday's 2-0 shutout of Inter Miami.
Canadian internationals Jonathan Osorio and Mark-Anthony Kaye scored second-half goals, while Sean Johnson earned his first shutout for Toronto, who snapped a five-match losing skid against Miami.
"Especially with the way this season has begun, this win is huge," Osorio said.
