Toronto FC vs. New England Revolution: 3 takeaways
A 0-0 draw in New England will do TFC's confidence a world of good, even if it felt like they left valuable points on the table.
After leaking goals all season, Toronto FC has managed to keep back-to-back clean sheets in MLS play for the first time in 2022.
TFC put forth a valiant effort on Saturday night at Gillette Stadium, and had chances to take all three points, but in the end they settled for a 0-0 draw against the New England Revolution.
The single point didn't do the Reds' playoff hopes much good, but Bob Bradley's side can take solace from the fact that they have recorded consecutive shutouts in MLS action for the first time since a pair of 1-0 road wins against New England and FC Cincinnati in October 2020.
Here are my three major takeaways from the game.
