TFC injury report: Matt Hedges questionable for Cincinnati game
The veteran defender was involved in training on Monday, but might not make the midweek trip to Ohio due to a leg injury.
Toronto FC appears to have benefited from having last week off when it comes to its ongoing injury crisis.
Defenders Shane O’Neill and Matt Hedges, and midfielder Alonso Coello were involved in portions of training on Monday after they’ve all been sidelined by injuries in recent weeks.
The good news is that O’Neill will be available for Wednesday’s road match vs. FC Cincinnati (7:30 p.m. ET/Apple TV) after being out since May 6 with a leg injury. O’Neill, 29, has been limited to just two MLS appearances totalling 114 minutes this year – he also missed time earlier in the season due to a head injury.
However, Hedges is considered questionable for Wednesday due to a leg injury.
