Toronto FC fans waited nine years for that?

A 2015 season that promised hope and achievement following the signing of Sebastian Giovinco ended in embarrassing fashion courtesy of a 3-0 road loss to the Montreal Impact in the first round of Major League Soccer’s playoffs.

It was a memorable playoff debut by the Reds (for all the wrong reasons), but in many ways it proved to be a bit of a turning point for the club.
