It’s a battle of the worst vs. first when Toronto FC hosts the New England Revolution this weekend.
The Revolution top the Supporters' Shield and Eastern Conference standings - a whopping 25 points ahead of TFC - and are one of only three clubs in MLS who have reached double digits in wins (a league-high 12). They’re also the hottest team in the league at the moment, with their last loss coming over a month ago.
All of which doesn’t bode well for a Toronto side that sits in last place, has stuttered in recent weeks, and dropped valuable points at home as it tries to claw its way back into the playoff race.
Here’s what you need to know about Saturday’s game between TFC and New England at BMO Field.
