Clean sheets have been very rare for Toronto FC in 2026.

TFC (3-2-4) is coming off a 3-3 draw at home against the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday, the club's second consecutive 3-3 stalemate. The six-goal thriller means the Reds, who are unbeaten in seven games, have registered just one clean sheet through the first nine matches of the campaign. Yet, defender Zane Monlouis doesn't feel that six goals against over the last two outings is cause for major concerns.

"We're not always gonna keep a clean sheet. That's obviously the goal. But things happen sometimes. There are areas where we need to improve, and I think we're just working to keep the goals down, try to keep clean sheets as much as we can," Monlouis said after Friday's practice.
