TORONTO – This time there was no magical comeback from Toronto FC.

An injury-ravaged TFC saw their seven-match unbeaten streak come to an end in a tight 2-1 loss to Atlanta United on a rainy Saturday afternoon at BMO Field.

Forward Emilio Aristizábal netted his first goal for the Reds who were unbeaten in their previous 13 home matches dating back to June 25, 2025.

Toronto (3-3-4) entered this weekend having rescued a point from a losing position in two consecutive matches (and four times in its last five outings), but the team’s growing list of injured players was just too much for it to overcome in this contest.
