Things don't get any easier for a Toronto FC side coming off a home loss as it prepares to host the best team in MLS this weekend.
Toronto FC saw its seven-game unbeaten run come to a screeching halt in last Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to Atlanta United.
Toronto (3-3-4) earned a point from a losing position in each of its previous two games (and four times in its last five outings), but couldn't complete the comeback after going down by two goals in the second half vs. the Five Stripes.
“[The result was] extremely disappointing, obviously. But I can take positives out of it. The mentality we showed towards the end was excellent. But we need to see that from the beginning,” coach Robin Fraser said after the loss.
