Toronto FC announced on Wednesday it acquired $175,000 in general allocation money – $125,000 in 2025 GAM and $50,000 in 2026 GAM – in a trade with the New York Red Bulls in exchange for a 2025 international roster slot.

This trade continues a recent trend from TFC who have been stockpiling GAM at a steady rate since the MLS secondary transfer window opened on July 24, all with an eye towards a major roster overhaul in the off-season.
