A small surge has elevated Toronto FC back into the thick of the playoff race.
A surprising 2-1 road win over Inter Miami last Saturday extended TFC's unbeaten streak to four games, allowed them to take seven out of nine points from three matches, and moved them into a tie with Orlando City for the ninth and final post-season berth in the Eastern Conference.
Toronto is also getting very close to full fitness after being decimated by injuries since the start of the season, all of which has led to a new attitude around the training ground.
"I think that there's so much more belief now. I think having guys back, [the] level of training has been higher. Competition has made everyone, I think, play better, and as a result the belief is higher," coach Robin Fraser said.
