Back-to-back wins remain elusive for Toronto FC.

Toronto's 1-1 draw vs. New York City FC at BMO Field on Saturday means it has only won consecutive games in MLS once during Robin Fraser's tenure as coach.

On the positive side, TFC (5-7-10) extended their unbeaten streak to five games to remain tied with Orlando City SC for ninth place and the final playoff berth in the Eastern Conference with 12 games remaining in the regular season.

"I feel like the entire fan base and the whole atmosphere at the club obviously has gotten more positive because of the results [this summer], and we can really feel that," winger Theo Corbeanu said.
