Canadian men's team to play U.S. in October friendly
The two Concacaf nations will renew their rivalry when they meet in an international friendly on Oct. 6 in Minnesota.
The Canadian men’s team will renew its rivalry against the United States during the next FIFA window.
Canada Soccer announced on Tuesday that Canada and the U.S. will face off in an international friendly on Oct. 6 at Allianz Field in St. Paul, the home of MLS club Minnesota United.
"The rivalry with the United States brings out the best in this group. We've had success in our last two meetings with them, and that only raises the standard for what we expect from ourselves. It's another meaningful test as we build toward what's next for this team,” coach Jesse Marsch said in a media release.
