If that old adage holds any truth, then the Canadian men’s team is about to embark on a wild ride.

Canada’s 3-0 win over Haiti on Tuesday night capped off a six-match romp through the first two rounds of Concacaf’s World Cup qualifying process that saw the Reds win six times and out-score their opponents 31-1. Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Aruba, Suriname and Haiti were quickly and ruthlessly dispatched by the Canadians without much drama.
