Sinclair highlights Canada's roster for 2nd leg of Celebration Tour

After missing out on last month's Arnold Clark Cup, iconic Canadian captain Christine Sinclair is set to return to action for the reigning Olympic champions.

On Monday, Canadian women’s team coach Bev Priestman released her 29-player roster for next month’s pair of international friendlies against Nigeria, a list that includes the returning Sinclair who didn’t play in the Arnold Clark Cup in England due to the recent death of her mother.

Canada will face Nigeria on April 8 at Vancouver's BC Place and on April 11 at Langford’s Starlight Stadium as part of the team’s ongoing Celebration Tour in recognition of its gold medal victory at last summer’s Tokyo Olympics.
