TFC 2 report: Young Reds thrashed in road loss
TFC 2 saw its modest two-game unbeaten run ended in a 5-1 road loss to New York Red Bulls II at MSU Soccer Park on Sunday.

TFC 2 has proven to be an invaluable part of Toronto FC's developmental system, as it’s usually where the best youth academy products play prior to signing with the senior team. A lot of notable former and current Toronto FC players cut their teeth with TFC 2 before debuting in MLS, such as Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty, Kosi Thompson, Alex Bono, and Jayden Nelson.
Other players to have graduated from TFC 2 to Toronto FC's senior team in recent years include Kobe Franklin, Alonso Coello, Luka Gavran, Markus Cimermancic, Lazar Stefanovic, Malik Henry, Jackson Gilman and Richard Chukwu.
