We may have reached the point where the MLS Re-Entry Draft has outlived its usefulness – if it had any to begin with.
Stage 1 of the 2025 re-entry draft took place earlier this week and for the third year in a row Toronto FC took a pass and didn't select anybody with the sixth overall pick. In fact, the other 29 teams across the league took a pass, too.
