Toronto FC announced on Friday it reached a transfer agreement to sign forward Josh Sargent from English club Norwich City FC. Sargent joins TFC as a Designated Player through the 2030-31 MLS season.

This is one of the biggest roster moves in TFC history – one that the Reds hope will help turn things around for them.

Toronto FC beat reporter James Grossi, who also operates the Unattached FC website, spoke to TFC Republic about what this signing means for the Reds and much more.
