Lee asks this question during an interesting time for Toronto FC as the club has yet to sign any attacking reinforcements this off-season. Thus far the only players added to the roster this winter have been centre back Walker Zimmerman, fullback Matheus Pereira and goalkeeper William Yarbrough.
TFC's attacking woes have been well documented by this website, but let's go over it again: the Reds mustered just 37 goals in 34 games last season, for an average of 1.09 goals per match. Only two other teams in the entire league scored fewer goals than Toronto in 2025.
