Footy Prime: Should TFC fans be worried about state of the roster?
The Footy Prime podcast spoke to John Molinaro about Toronto FC's roster needs and the Josh Sargent-Norwich City saga.
The start of the 2026 MLS season is just over a month away and Toronto FC's roster still has some rather large holes.
GM Jason Hernandez has made a trio of additions to his squad with the signings of centre back Walker Zimmerman, fullback Matheus Pereira and goalkeeper William Yarbrough.
But there is still plenty of work to do on the roster for Hernandez ahead of the season opener away to FC Dallas on Feb. 1. Topping his list of priorities is securing a DP striker to bolster an attack that scored just 37 goals in 2025, third-worst in MLS.
In the latest episode of the Footy Prime podcast, host James Sharman and Canada Soccer Hall of Famers Amy Walsh and Craig Forrest welcomed TFC Republic's John Molinaro to talk about Toronto FC's roster needs ahead of the 2026 MLS season, the Josh Sargent-Norwich City saga, and much more.
