The dog days of summer continue to hound Toronto FC.
Just minutes away from earning an important win on Saturday, TFC managed to once again throw away more valuable points in settling for a 1-1 draw vs. Atlanta United at BMO Field.
TFC coach Robin Fraser admitted his team wasn't as great and sharp on the night as it needed to be, while also hailing "an incredible effort" from his side.
"Some guys were pretty on it and some guys were a little bit off, but in spite of all that, we did enough, we think, to win the game. [It was] a kick in the gut," Fraser told reporters in the post-game press conference.
